Shaun Munday Model Classic 424
The Shaun Munday model is very similar to the 424 with a couple
signature features such as EMG P and J pickups and a 3-band EQ
neatly tucked into the traditional looking three knob configuration.
There’s a lot of muscle hidden under the hood of this
inconspicuous exterior. Just catch one of Shaun’s shows to find out
what we mean!

Club
The Club model 424 and 524 - Simple, basic, no-frills…these are
terms that could be used to describe the Club model by Conklin. It
is the most standard of our “standard” models; an entry level
instrument for the brand, but by no means a starter bass. The Club
model is specifically designed for those players seeking the
exquisite design, attention to detail and incredible playability of a
Conklin, and nothing else.

Tour
Simply put, the Tour 424 and 524 models are the culmination of
our 35 years in the music business. Nothing too over-the-top or
pretentious. Just classic curves and traditional touches that humbly
tip their hat to the best of the past while incorporating virtually
every ethic of our own rich history.

Although we offer these instruments as standard models, they feature many of the most sought after
specifications previously only available on our one-of-a-kind custom pieces such as multi-scale and extended range
fretboards, headless hardware systems, luminescent inlays and state-of-the-art electronics. And of course, they are
all completely handcrafted in our Springfield, Missouri Custom Shop.
Woodie
Drawing its name (and mojo) from the wood emblazoned vehicles
of the surf music era, our “Woodie” model features a figured Maple
pickguard for a cutting edge classic touch.

Funky 5
The Funky Five is what happens when you strap a rocket engine to
a street bike. This bass just feels right in every way with its
contoured body and narrow neck but hang on tight because when
you open it up this beast is fully capable of getting away from you.
We stuffed the control cavity full of wonderful wizardry from
Bartolini and there’s almost nothing it can’t do. Get down…get
funky!

Short-Scale Woodie 5
Drawing its name (and mojo) from the wood emblazoned vehicles
of the surf music era, this 5 string features a Burl Maple pickguard
and a fantastic 32” scale.

It took us a minute to realize the true potential of headless instruments, but ever since we lost our heads, we have
lost our minds; we can’t get enough. We currently offer headless versions of nearly every one of our standard 34”
scale bass models in addition to our 32” scale Bugout bass and the multi-scale (32” – 35”) Wigglestick.
Bugout Bass
When the gig hits the fan and you have to hightail it on a moments
notice, your Bugout Bass is packed with everything you’ll need to
survive any musical situation; just throw it over your shoulder and
flee the scene.

WiggleStik
This may be our most “cutting edge” bass. We combined high tech
hardware and electronics, a 32” – 35” multi-scale fretboard and a
headless composite neck. We ended up with a bass that quite
simply just makes your butt shake!

and their scale length long (Lo), we offer “WiLo”. Featuring a
Mahogany body core with a Maple top, a 5 piece
Maple/Purpleheart bolt-on neck, a 35” scale Maple fretboard,
19mm wide Hipshot fixed bridge and EMG pickups and

New Century Sidewinder
The “New Century Series” was our first foray into offering standard
models that featured some of the most popular options from our
Custom Shop basses in a more affordable package. The NCS line
has been a major part of the Conklin brand since the mid ‘90s.
Now that we are offering a wide variety of standard models, it is
time to say goodbye to the New Century Series. Therefore, we felt
it was only appropriate to pay tribute to our long-running
namesake with the New Century Sidewinder (NCS); available in
several configurations from 4 string to 9 string.

Jason Everett Model
The concept for this bass came about when Jason modified his
stock Groove Tools GT-7 bass body with an Om inlay. A few years
later he approached us with a very detailed list of specifications for
his own original custom Conklin 7 string bass design and soon
after, the Jason Everett model was born.
