Bill Conklin, 58, departed this life on October 29, 2021, surrounded by loving family and friends at his home in Springfield, Missouri.

Bill was born February 4, 1963, in Torrejon de Ardos, Madrid Spain to Mary Hite Conklin and John Davis Conklin. He was united in marriage to Teresa Conklin. Bill had a strong passion for art and music, over the years he had created the most beautiful musical instruments. Bill founded Conklin Guitars & Basses in 1983 in Lebanon, Missouri. He was a master luthier and champion innovator of the multi-string and multiscale guitars and basses. He was an inspiration to anyone that is chasing down a dream. The music world has lost a legend! His legacy will live on forever.
